Our story
Built because good Qur'an teaching should not depend on your postcode
Many families want their children to read the Qur'an correctly but cannot find a qualified teacher nearby, or cannot travel to a madrasah at a fixed hour every day. Samad-ul-Qur'an Academy was founded to remove that barrier.
We began with a handful of students taught over video call and a paper register. As more families joined, the academy built the system you are using now: an admission workflow, a teacher-assigned class schedule, a recorded attendance log, a monthly fee ledger with verified receipts, and a portal where students, teachers and the office all work from the same information.
The academy remains deliberately small. Every student is assigned to a named teacher, and the office knows each family. That is the part we are not willing to scale away.

Four commitments
A syllabus, not improvisation
Each course has defined stages and outcomes, so a student who changes teacher does not start again from the beginning.
Family involvement
Parents receive attendance and progress records and can message the teacher directly through the portal.
Honest money
One published monthly fee. No registration fee, no hidden charges, and no payment marked as received until the office has verified it.
How we teach
One teacher, one student, one clear next step
- Assessment. The trial class establishes what the student can already read.
- Stage placement. The academy places the student on the correct course and level.
- Daily sabaq. New lesson, revision and manzil are set according to the course.
- Recorded outcome. The teacher marks attendance and writes a progress note after every class.
- Monthly review. The office reviews attendance and progress before the next month begins.
